Group Policy installation runs with a full user interface

Issue

You created a deployment using the Network Installation Wizard and you indicated that the client installations should be silent. After you set up a software installation package in Group Policies to distribute the application, you noticed that the installation has a full user interface which allows the user to change installation options.

Solution

When you configure a software installation package in Group Policies to Publish to the User, sometimes the user interface level is set to maximum by default.
Changing this setting back to basic in the GPO software installation package allows the installation to occur silently.
