Wipeouts not plotted

Issue

With some printers, you noticed that the wipeouts were plotted transparently on paper and the underlying objects were not hidden as expected. However, the print preview displayed the wipeouts correctly.

Solution

This occurs with some printers when the Raster Graphic Quality in the Plotter Properties is set to 6 (the highest level). To determine the Raster Graphic Quality setting
  1. On the File menu, click Plot.
  2. In the Plot dialog box, select the plotter and click Properties.
  3. In the Plotter Configuration Editor, on the Device and Document Settings tab, expand Graphics.
  4. Under Graphics, select Raster Graphics.
  5. The Raster and Shaded/Rendered Viewports slider reflects the Raster Graphic Quality setting from 0 (lowest) to 6 (highest).
To work around this issue, set the Raster Graphic Quality to 5. This ensures high quality raster images and correctly printed wipeouts.
Some plotter models also offer different quality settings. Increasing the quality setting in the plotter driver also ensures that the wipeouts will be printed correctly.
